Well Ed: We will miss you at Coram. There will be tears that we shed now, because you are gone. But as time goes by the tears will turn to smiles because we will remember your smile and laughter, your wild sense of humor and of course your stubbornness. And thats why we LOVED you Ed, because you were still laughing and joking with us, even though you were struggling day in and day out. Your at peace now Ed and we are thankful for that. We will miss you, but we can now breath a lot easier Ed, because we know you are...Love Gail....

I remember Ed best from being a little kid on Palmer Road in Manlius and Tressa (Judy's sister) being my best friend and pal next door. I remember Ed as a dry humourist and always good for a tongue in cheek comment. I also remember how impressed I was as a child at the Wedding He and Judy had! It was really an elaborate affair and I felt very lucky that I was allowed to go. I remember what a great time I had and how beautiful the event was. It made a lasting impression on me. Since that time, I know Judy and Ed have done a wonderful job of raising super kids! In his short life he made great contributions as a Business man, Husband, and Father and will be missed. My heart goes to everyone in his family and if Judy and the kids ever need us, we are here! With much Love and Sympathy, Susan Stafford, along with the Stafford and Piddock Family.

We found this poem and wanted to share it with you. I'm Free Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free.I'm following the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard him call I turned my back and left it all.I could not stay another day to laugh, to love, to work, or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way I found that place at the close of day. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with a remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes, these things I too will miss.Be not burdened with times of sorrow I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savored much good friends good times, a loved ones touch.Perhaps my time seemed all too brief. Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me God wanted me now, he set me free.

Ed was a person who left a lasting impression on those he met. His keen sense of humor, and his ""Irish Attitude"" are things I will alway look back on and smile. But more than that, he was an educator, someone who wanted something better for others who were aflicted with the same disease. He taught me to ""share knowledge, to help others."" When I look back at people who have touched my life... Ed is right up there. I will carry his memory with me always. He made me a better nurse, as well as a better person. Midge
