My grandmother was more than that she was my mother. She taught me so much like respect and honor. She taught how to cook, clean and bubget my money. She taught me how to be the best I can be and to be the best mom I could be. I love you soo much grandma more than I could ever have shown you. You were in my thoughts always. Grandpa and grandma had a love I hope to have someday. I never saw them argue or hurt each other. That was amazing to me because of the environment I grew up in. She always had everyone elses best interests at heart. She is truley loved. I know I will never forget her as long as I live. ANd I pray that grandpa will accept Jesus and walk the path with Jesus so that they will be reunited some day. I also ask that anyone who reads this to say a prayer for my grandpa that he will regain his health and live a long happy life. I love you grandma and grandpa you are both truley a gift from god to me. I owe everything I have to you both. Love, your grandaughter Debbie, DaRon, Carlitto,(or Carmillito as grandma calls him) and Andreanna

This is to the memory of my loving mother. I know she is with the Lord in Glory. My thoughts will be of her daily the rest of my life. I enjoyed all the times we spent together. She would always tell me something new about her life & memories my life. Her family was very important to her. She loved everyone & always remembered our bithdays & Wedding Anniversaries. She would send money or presents when she could not afford it. Her main desire for us was to know the Lord & be saved so we all could be with her in heaven some day. I hope her husband, all of her children, grand children & great grand children will remember her memory. She prayed many prayers to the lord for us all. I love you mom.

The times i did spend with grandma were always the best. She always made us laugh with her witty jokes, the way old people usually do. Since i got a job, I didnt get to visit grandma very often with my family, but mom would tell me all about it when i got home from work. She always used to say ""grandma was asking about you again"" and i always felt bad that i didnt get to go see her. Grandma was a very sweet person who told you like it was. She never sugar coated anything, and thats what i liked best about her. I'll miss you grandma and i'll always remember you. I love you.

I met Bessie at Van Duyn home while visiting my father-in law. Bessie was a real joy to me. I will miss seeing her and talking with her. On one of my vists with her Bessie gave me a picture of her while she was at work at Van Duyn back in 1963. I will forever treasue the picture and her memory. Bessie, thank you for the time that we shared and the laughter that you gave me.May you rest in peace.Joanne Walters

I know it's a hard time for all who knew's Bessie, but than again it's good to remember, she is in God's home, where we all will be, and will be able to be with Bessie again. Bessy had a good and long life, she alway's was with us just as Bessie is now, in our heart's and thought's. The thought's of Bessie not being with us, is not easy but, she has not really left us, she's just with God, and in the right plasce to be able to watch us all, just look up to the heaven's any time and any where and you can talk to her. Her love and understanding will alway's be there, just as it was when she was sitting right next to you.

I started to make regular bi-weekly visits to Grama on her 82nd birthdy. As you can imagine, I have so many fond memories of our visits together. I will always remember her beautiful Easter bonnet that an aide had made for her at the Nursing Home. The day she wore that bonnet and turned on her radiant smile, she lit the entire room! We had dinner that day at the Old Country Buffet and what a great time we had. I was fortunate enough to spend Mother's Day 2002 and 2003 with Grama, as well as her 83rd birthday. I will never forget the tears that welled up in her eyes when we approached her room singing "Happy Birthday". She was so happy that day! Grama was a stong lady, full of affection and love for her family, an incredible example of wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. I will truly miss our visits, conversations, and hugs of affection. Grama, I will never forget your spunkiness as it will live forever in me. "Those who we love live in our hearts forever" -Unknown.You will always be in my heart Grama! Love Fran
