I wanted to express my condolences to the Carter-Carruthers family. Although her great-grandsons and myself had only one opportunity to meet her, I know of the marks left my the loss of loved ones.

Mom, I love and miss you so much. I know that heaven is lucky to have such a wonderful person. Down here their is such a void. Everyone that you ever talked to was touched in a way that you will always be remembered. I only wish to do half as much for friends as you and Dad. You two were and are the most giving, loving and understanding people that God ever sent here. I pray daily, the rest of us have a good life, to be able to join you when it's time. I promise to do as you asked and be here when ever needed. I do thank all the people that came to your viewing and fueral for being such good friends and in supporting us, as they did. Please rest in peace and know you'll be missed more than ever. I Love You Your loving daughter, Helene

To Leigh, Mr. & Mrs. Damiano and Russell: Although it was only a short time that I knew Oma, I know how much of an impact she had on her family & friends. Oma & Opa and Leigh & I shared good experiences that I will never forget. I send my love to all of you in your time of sorrow. With love and respect, Kyle.

Cathy, Never is there anything harder than the loss of a parent because we only have one of each for ever. I know as I lost my mom to Cancer also and there are days that I still miss her like it was yesterday. I would like to tell you that the time will come that you will be able to think of your mom and it will bring warmth to your heart. The hole however is always there. One day you will find a place to carry that hole without the pain and than you draw from it from time to time. Untill then hold on to your loved ones and let them support you as you have supported them in their lives. Please know that my thoughts are with you.Respectfully,Connie Sorrells
