Rosemary Evans

Obituary of Rosemary Helen Evans

Rosemary (Hart) Evans, age 92, was a woman of “great goodness”. She passed peacefully, while in the care of her loving children, at her home in Jamesville, NY on October 5th.  Born December 10, 1930 to Florence (Massett) and James Hart in Lyncourt; she was one of 11 children.

Rosemary also raised 11 children. She was happiest sharing tea and conversation with her friends, extended family (Hart, Massett & Evans) and her immediate family. She especially cherished time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren; the babies always filled her with joy. She lived a life of faith, love and kindness and continually shared with all that she was truly “blessed!”

Rosemary is predeceased by her wonderful husband, Howard Evans, her siblings, Gloria (Sis Whitmore) James, Raymond, Edward, Richard, and Clifford.  She is survived by four of her siblings: Donald, Barbara, Florence Viscosi and Kenneth, her eleven children: Judy, Ron (Sara),  Dan (Carol), Tim (Ness),  Mary Gotham (Steve), Ed (Janet),  Jim (Kathy), Ann Evans-Scheibel,  Joe (Diana), John (Jennifer),  and Steve (Kerry).  She leaves behind 25 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren,  2 great-great-grandchildren and hundreds of beloved nieces and nephews.
