Obituary of Yolande Gonzalez

Yolande Gonzalez, 80, of Syracuse, passed away on Monday, Nov. 7th with her family by her side. She married Rafael Gonzalez in 1959 and raised her five children. Yolande was an avid casino goer, but her main joy was being with her family. Yolande worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital for many years.

She is predeceased by; her son, Rafael Jr. and husband, Rafael Sr.  

Yolande is survived by; her four daughters, Nancy (Victor) Soury, Linda Gonzalez, Yolande Gonzalez and Joanne (Christina) Gonzalez, two sisters, Louise Dignard and Hugette (Renauld) Faucher, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Calling hours will be 10 AM to 12 PM on Friday, Nov. 11th at Ballweg and Lunsford Funeral Home, 4612 S. Salina St. Syracuse. 

A funeral service will follow at 12 PM at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
