Obituary of Ivan Egerton Wong

Ivan Egerton Wong, age 85, of 417 Churchill Avenue, Syracuse, New York died Saturday April 13, 2002 at home. Mr. Wong was born February 25, 1917, in Guyana, South America , the son of Samuel and Lynn Emily (Young) Wong. He attended Georgetown Guyana University and graduated from Bryant & Stratton. He was a bookkeeper for Onondaga Pastoral, University Hospital, and Crane Laboratory. He was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church and Silent Temple Lodge 3254 in Guyana. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Acinorev Elizabeth Wong, who died in 1993. Mr. Wong is survived by one daughter: Susan Wong of Syracuse, New York; two brothers: Herman Wong of Guyana, South America and Norman Wong of Syracuse, New York. Funeral Services: Wednesday, April 17, 2002, 1:00 p.m. in St. Andrew's Episcopal Church with Father Thomas Hayes officiating. Burial: Onondaga Valley Cemetery, Syracuse.
