Obituary of Frank Haumann

Frank Haumann, age 89, of 1918 Route 31, Lakeport, New York died Tuesday, August 27, 2002 at Veterans Administration Medical Center, Syracuse, New York. Mr. Haumann was born August 20, 1913 in Syracuse, New York. He was employed by the New York State Thruway Authority and previously for Easy Washer and Olindorfs. He was a member of Oneida Lake Fishing Association. He was an avid sportsman and gardener. He was an Army veteran of World War II where he was a POW. He received a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He is survived by two sons: Stephen Haumann of Syracuse, New York and James Haumann of Georgia; several nieces & nephews. Funeral: Thursday, August 29, 2002, 9:00 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., with Rev. Beth Dubois officiating. Burial: Onondaga Valley Cemetery, Syracuse, New York.
