Obituary of Ella B. Conway

Ella B. Conway, age 83, of Syracuse, New York died Tuesday, November 26, 2002 at Community General Hospital, Onondaga Hill, New York. Ella was born February 16, 1919 in Houston, Texas, the daughter of James D. and Albena J. (Rasmussen) Brown. She was the wife of Howard D. Conway who died May 13, 1970. She retired after 20 years as a secretary with the United States Department Of Agriculture and was formerly employed by the Department of Defense and General Electric. She was a member of Women United, Inc., the Civic Social Club of Greater Syracuse and the American Legion Post #1468 Auxiliary. She is survived by three daughters, Karen A. Swart of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Sally C. Rubadeau of Constantia, New York and Carol J. Rommevaux of LaFayette, New York; one son, Kenneth Conway of Syracuse, New York; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral: Saturday, Novmeber 30, 2002, 10:30 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., with Rev. Beth Dubois officiating. Burial: Onondaga Valley Cemetery, 2500 Valley Drive, Syracuse, New York.
