Obituary of Harry Nathaniel Tarlin

Harry Nathaniel Tarlin, age 82, of Liverpool, New York died Wednesday, March 5, 2003 at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse, New York. Harry was born March 10, 1920, in Dorchester, Massachusetts, the son of William and Gertrude (Millen) Tarlin. He retired in 1984 after 17 years as an Administrative Librarian from Utica College Library. He was instrumental in the development of the library at Brandise University, Waltham, Massachusetts. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. Mr. Tarlin is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sonia Theresa (Greenberg) Tarlin, Phd; daughter, Sandra Hope Tarlin, Phd of Houston, Texas; son, Jan W. Tarlin of Bexley, Ohio; sister: Phyllis Gorenstein of Medford, Massachusetts; brothers, Bertram Tarlin of Florida and Edward Tarlin of Wales. Services: Friday, March 7, 2003, 12:30 p.m. at the Zen Center Of Syracuse, 266 W. Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse, New York.
