Obituary of James G. Shaw

James G. Shaw, 51 of Tully, passed away April 9, 2003 ay his home. He is survived by his brothers Mike and Bob Shaw, his sister Patricia Babe', and his sons, David and Jason Shaw. Mr. Shaw was a graduate of LaFayette High School (1969) and Ithaca College (1973). He also held a masters degree in physical education from Syracuse University. He was an elementary school physical education teacher ar Fabius-Pompey Central Schools for the past several years. Mr. Shaw was also an accomplished athlete, competing on the varsity football, basketball, and playing lacrosse professionally for two years. Calling Hours will be held April 17, 2003 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m., and a Memorial service will be held April 18, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. Both will take place at the Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., 2584 Field Lane, Lafayette, NY 13084.
