Obituary of Evelyn Webster Goulet

Evelyn Webster Goulet, age 100, of 338 Gifford Street, Syracuse, New York died Monday, April 21, 2003 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse. Evelyn was born March 3, 1903 on the Onondaga Indian Reservation, the daughter of Stephen and Elizabeth (Johnson) Webster. She attended Carlisle Indian School. She was a member of the Oneida Nation and the Onondaga Nation Seventh Day Adventist Church. She lived independently until her 100th birthday on March 3rd. She was an avid sports fan partial to the New York Yankees and professional wrestling. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Goulet, four sons and 11 siblings. She was the beloved grandmother of Karen, Ray and Barry Halbritter, in addition to 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
