I worked with Bill at the Cat Rental Store. He was one of the nicest persons I've met there and was always so friendly. We will miss him.

I will remember you everytime I make myself a cream cheese and jelly sandwich, Billy. I can't help but think of the wintertime sled rides in the woods behind your house on Barnes Avenue. In summertime your family swimming pool was a gathering spot for neighborhood kids, and you and your family were always gracious in sharing. There was the pinball and bumper pool games in the basement...the go carts flying up and down Barnes Ave. and at the Cherry Valley Cart Track...you were the fearless, fastest kid on the block! Then there was that hemi Chrysler...what a car! I grew up with you, my good friend, and my memories of our shared youth on the southside will remain fresh in my mind always.Be well, Sweet William.

Bill, I am so saddened by your passing, my dear friend. As best friends from 11 years old, through being roomates during our sophmore year at Morrisville, our lives will always be connected. It has been a few years since we last saw each other, busy lives and all, but I guess I took it for granted that we would have a few laughs together in old age.I remember the time my car blew its engine and you let me store it at your shop 'for a while'. The next weekend I stopped over and there was another engine in my car, running, and you standing there smiling, typical Bill. That is who you were to me.We shared a love of all things mechanical, but you were the savant with a sixth sense about how things work. I remember go carts and motorcycles (too young to drive), standing up in your '40 Ford Deluxe Convertible (while you were going 90mph), The '54 Chrysler (great backseat on a double date), your Dodge Demon (scary fast), the 'stang (beautiful). Each one an icon signifying an epoch of our times together. Road trips, long talks, mischief, and your own style of dry wit with a touch silliness. Peace be with you my friend, you will be sorely missed. Love, Clark

We will miss you so much Bill! I wish we had spent more time with you in the past few years, but we can't change that. I'll never forget walking down to your apartment in Syracuse with Andy when he was a baby. You were a great friend and I'll miss you dearly! God Bless!Lisa LaClair

Aw, Billy. I can't believe you're gone. It's been years since I've seen you, but only a few days in my minds eye since we were all hanging out on Beech Street and having fun. Always on the quiet side with a sublime sence of humor. You were a great friend, and will be in my thoughts for years to come. Take care, Billy. I'll miss you.Sus

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Bill passing away. I didn't know Bill real well. He was one of the kids in the neighborhoodnear my cousins house on St. Louis Ave. (Jerry LaVaute} He later moved to Tully where I have a small retail store and He would visit every so often and ask about some of the old faces. I think I last saw him about 2 weeks ago.I liked Bill. He was very easy going, and always had a kind word to say. Because of this retail shop I'm not able to attend his service. I wish his Family well and I will keep Bill in my thoughts.
