Obituary of Walter R. Spratt

Walter R. Spratt, age 85, of 119 Bailey Drive, Nedrow, New York died Sunday, August 31, 2003 at Francis House, Syracuse, New York. Walter was born October 7, 1917 in Syracuse, New York, the son of Edwin H. and Nellie (Horner) Spratt. He attended Onondaga Valley High School and was a graduate of Vocational High School. He retired from Bristol Laboratory in 1978 following 30 years of service. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Margaret M. Walsh Spratt on November 22, 2002 and his son, Kenneth R. Spratt in 1973. Walter is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Margery "Margie" Spratt-Smith and Fred Smith of Nedrow, New York. Graveside Service: Tuesday, September 2, 2003, 12:30 p.m. in Onondaga Valley Cemetery, 2500 Valley Drive, Syracuse, New York with Rev. Thomas Schafer officiating.
