Obituary of Laura Dickinson OA?Hara

Laura Dickinson O?Hara, age 92, of Syracuse, New York died Tuesday, November 11, 2003 at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse. Laura was born July 19, 1911 in Massena, New York, the daughter of Joseph and Mande (Bayley) Holliday. She attended Syracuse University and worked in their Purchasing Department for 21 years. She also worked at Jordan Wire & Cable Co. for 19 years and Careerco School for 6 years, retiring in 1976. Her first husband, Ted Dickinson passed away in 1974 and her second husband, Bob O?Hara passed away in 1988. Both husbands were well known local musicians. Mrs. O'Hara is survived by a stepson, Robert B. O'Hara; grandchildren, Sean O'Hara and Erin DeOrdio; great grandsons, John DeOrdio, Cody DeOrdio, Nathan DeOrdio and Gavin O'Hara. Funeral: Saturday, November 15, 2003, 10:00 a.m. in St. James Church, 4845 S. Salina St., Syracuse where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Father Daniel J. O'Hara.
