Obituary of Birdie V. Doctor

Birdie V. Doctor, age 78, of Syracuse, New York died Sunday, November 23, 2003 at home. Birdie was born in Six Nations, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of Alexander and Agusta (Lewis) Hill. She was a member of Six Nations Mohawk Turtle Clan. She enjoyed her children and grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred L. Doctor; her parents, Alexander and Gussie Hill; daughter, Karen Ruth Doctor; son, Vincent Arnold Doctor; brother, Vincent Hill and sister, Inez Hill. Survivors: LaVerne & Kathie Doctor of LaFayette, Ron & Doreen Doctor of Skaneateles, Ginny Doctor of Tanana, AK, Delores Doctor of Syracuse, Melvin Doctor and Pam Quensnel of Syracuse, Allan Doctor and Randy Doctor both of Syracuse; four sisters: Elma Hill, Myrna Hess, Dorothy Henhawk and Cathy Jonathan all of Six Nations, Canada; one brother, Terry Hill of Six Nations, Canada; grandchildren, Melanie (Rich) Doctor-Yockell, Aaron, Kent, Sarah, Allan Dean, Vince, Chris, Kyle and Corinna Doctor; great granddaughter, Savannah Doctor and many nieces and nephews. Services: Wednesday, November 26, 2003, 1:00 p.m. in St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 5013 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, New York.
