Obituary of MaryAnne Ripley

MaryAnne "Mane" Ripley, 63, of Syracuse, New York died Monday, January 19, 2004 at home. MaryAnne was born September 18, 1940 in Hamilton, New York, the daughter of George A. "Rip" and Kathryn (VanSlyke) Ripley. She was a graduate of Hamilton Central School. As a former military wife, she resided throughout the United States before settling back in the Hamilton and Syracuse areas. She was the Office Manager of Ashley-McGraw Architects, Syracuse. She was a communicant of St. James Church and a former communicant and Eucharistic Minister at St. Ann's Church in Manlius. She was an avid Syracuse University basketball and football fan. Her greatest love was visiting her family on Cape Cod and she enjoyed gardening. MaryAnne is survived by a daughter, Holly White Tracy and her husband Bradford of West Barnstable, Massachusetts; one son, Jeffrey M. White and his wife Robyn of Dennis, Massachusetts; two sisters, Joan Banks and Jackie Williams both of The Valley, Syracuse, New York; one brother, Stephen Ripley and his wife Patricia of The Valley, Syracuse, New York; one grandaughter, Leah and two grandsons, Christian and Matthew Tracy all of West Barnstable, Massachusetts; several nieces, great nieces and one great nephew. Services: Saturday, January, 24, 2004, 9:30 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc. and a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in St. James Church, 4845 S. Salina St., Syracuse, New York. Spring Burial will be in St. Joseph?s Cemetery, Hamilton, New York. Calling Hours: Friday, January 23, 2004, 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home, 4612 S.
