Obituary of Ralph W. Crofoot

Ralph W. Crofoot, age 93, of Syracuse, New York died Friday, February 27, 2004 at Iroquois Nursing Home, Jamesville, New York. Ralph was born in Phoenix, New York, the son of Luther and Myrtle (Kimball) Crofoot. He was a longtime resident of Syracuse. He retired from Baldwin & Hall/CED as a salesperson and following his retirement, he worked with Kenton D. Electric. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He enjoyed his family, boating throughout the Thousand Islands, fishing on the St. Lawrence River and the family camp in Erieville, New York. Mr. Crofoot was predeceased by his wife, the former Norma Metzger, who died in 1998, his granddaughter, Amber Crofoot and great-granddaughter, Anna Diniro, both in 2002. Mr. Crofoot is survived by two sons, Gary L. Crofoot of Syracuse, New York and Kenton D. Crofoot and his wife Glenda of Syracuse, New York; one brother, Norman Crofoot of New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Funeral Service: Wednesday, March 3, 2004, 7:00 p.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Jack Kissell officiating. Spring Burial: Daysville Cemetery, Mexico, New York. Calling Hours: Wednesday, March 3, 2004, 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home, 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, New York.
