Obituary of Ethel L. Rutherford

Ethel L. Rutherford, age 89, of Apulia, New York Sunday, February 29, 2004 at her daughter's home in Tully, New York. Ethel was born April 13, 1914 in Navarino, New York, the daughter of Edward and Gertrude (Case) Ramsden. She was the wife of Kenneth Rutherford who died in July 1998. Mrs. Rutherford is survived by four daughters, Dawn Memory of LaFayette, New York, Cherry Hammond and her husband Russell of Pompey, New York, Mary Lou Pulaski and her husband James of Tully, New York, Bette Jo McDermott and her husband John of Fabius, New York; three sons and their wives, Kenneth and Lisa Rutherford of Miami, Florida, James and Sherry Rutherford of Manlius, New York, Raymond and Carol Rutherford of DeRuyter, New York; two brothers and their wives, Paul and Helen Ramsden of Marcellus, New York, Richard and Marcia Ramsden of Camillus, New York; 23 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services: Thursday, March 4, 2004, 11:00 a.m. in Apulia Methodist Church with Rev. Jay Yang officiating. Spring Burial: Saturday, May 15, 2004, 1:00 p.m. in Maplewood Cemetery, Berwyn, New York. Calling Hours: Wednesday, March 3, 2004, 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., 2584 Field Lane, LaFayette, New York.
