Obituary of Laure P. Hand

Laure P. Hand, age 88, of Syracuse, New York died Monday, March 1, 2004 in Laguna Niguel, California. Laure was born February 19, 1916 in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, the daughter of Wilfred and Antonia (Frechette) Bessette. She retired as a seamstress from Crouse-Irving Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Business & Professional Women?s Club, a volunteer at the Golden Age Center of the Salvation Army and she attended St. James Church. Mrs. Hand is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shirley B. and Daniel Hyde of Laguna Niguel, California; three grandsons, Jeffrey Hyde of Connecticut, Derek Hyde of California and Brian Hyde of Connecticut; six great-grandchildren, one niece and one great-niece. A Memorial Service: Saturday, July 24, 2004, 10:00 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, New York. Burial: Onondaga Valley Cemetery, 2500 Valley Drive, Syracuse, New York.
