Obituary of Cecilia R. Brown

Cecilia R. Brown, age 93, of Syracuse, New York died Wednesday, March 3, 2004 at A. L. Lee Memorial Hospital in Fulton, New York. Cecilia was born May 28, 1910 in White Plains, New York, the daughter of Henry and Katherine (McDermott) Rogers. She retired in 1973 after 15 years with First Trust Bank in Syracuse. She was a communicant of St. James Church and a former member of their Altar & Rosary Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, George F. Brown in 1994. Mrs. Brown is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William and Jean Brown of Central Square, New York; one sister, Kathleen Mattson of Barnaget, New Jersey; grandson, Michael Brown; granddaughter, Laura Graveline and two great-grandchildren. Services: Saturday, March 6, 2004, 8:30 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home and 9:00 a.m. in St. James Church, 4845 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, New York. Graveside Service: Saturday, March 6, 2004, 11:30 a.m. in Glenwood Cemetery, Watertown, New York. Calling Hours: Friday, March 5, 2004, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home, 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, New York.
