Obituary of Victoria Calucci

Victoria (Giarrosso) Calucci, 97, life resident of Syracuse, New York died Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at Community General Hospital, Onondaga Hill, New York. Victoria was born June 23, 1907 in Syracuse, New York, the daughter of Louis and Theresa (DeFabio) Giarrosso. She was a communicant and active in the Altar and Rosary Societies of St. Peter's Church and later at St. James Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis M. Calucci, April 10, 1969. She loved her family, grandchildren and homemaking. Survivors: Two sons, Louis (Maria) Calucci of Ferndale, Pennsylvania and Edward Calucci of Syracuse, New York; one daughter, Phyllis (Patrick) Capp of Manlius, New York; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Services: Saturday, October 9, 2004, 9:30 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Syracuse, New York and 10:00 a.m. in St. James Church, 4845 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, New York where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Father Daniel J. O'Hara. Burial: St. Mary's Cemetery, 4100 E. Genesee Street, Dewitt, New York.
