Obituary of Coralyn G. Warboy

Coralyn G. Warboy, 94, of Syracuse, New York died Friday, November 12, 2004 at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse. Born October 2, 1910 in Jersey City, New Jersey, she was the daughter of Julius J. and Coralyn (Oertel) Gugenheim. She was a graduate of Syracuse Normal School. She retired from New York Telephone Co. and was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America. She was a communicant of St. James Church, a member of their Altar & Rosary Society and a member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court Grimes #838. She was preceded in death by her husband Burton W. Warboy in 1991; two brothers, Thomas McCue and Robert Gugenheim; son-in-law, William Dean. Cora is survived by five daughters, Dorothy Dean of Camillus, New York, Joan (Charles) Greene of Syracuse, New York, Patricia (Hubert) Minor of Chittenango, New York, Susan (William) Winchell of Syracuse, New York, Mary Warboy of Syracuse, New York; one son, Richard (Villa) Warboy of Churchton, Maryland; sister-in-law, Dorothy Farrington of Solvay, New York; 21 grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 11 step-great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews; close family friend, Robert O'Hara. Services: Tuesday, November 16, 2004, 10:30 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home and 11:00 a.m. in St. James Church, 4845 S. Salina St., Syracuse where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Father Daniel J. O'Hara. Burial: Onondaga Valley Cemetery, 2500 Valley Drive, Syracuse, New York.
