Obituary of Janice DiAnn Stout

Janice DiAnn Stout, 50, of Territory Road, Oneida, died Friday, November 19, 2004 at home following a long courageous battle with cancer. Janice was born July 27, 1954 in Syracuse, New York. Before she became ill, she was a cook at Oneida Nation Day Care. She was a member of the Onondaga Beaver Clan. She was an avid Bingo player and she enjoyed bowling. She was devoted to her family. Janice is survived by her husband of 34 years, Gilbert Stout Sr.; four sons, Gilbert (Summer) Stout Jr., William Stout, Samual Stout and Cory Stout, all of Oneida; two daughters, Beverly Stout and ChyAnn Stout both of Oneida; her mother and stepfather, Beverly and Howard Lazore of Onondaga Nation; three sisters, Carolyn Gibson, Darlene Papineau and Christina Marnell all of Onondaga Nation; one brother, Richard Bennett of Onondaga Nation; five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Calling Hours: Anytime at Carolyn Gibson's home, Route 11A, Onondaga Nation. Services: Monday, November 22, 2004, 10:00 a.m. at Carolyn's house and 11:00 a.m. in the Longhouse. Burial: Onondaga Nation Cemetery.
