Obituary of Bernice Frances Amidon

Bernice Frances Amidon, 80, of Brighton Towers in Syracuse, New York and formerly of LaFayette, New York died Saturday, January 8, 2005 at home. Bernice was born October 17, 1924 in Syracuse, New York, the daughter of Frank Amidon and Bertha Bush. She retired as a ward clerk at Van Duyn Home & Hospital and also worked at Loretto. She was a member of National Society Daughter of Founders and Patriots of America, DAR and a longtime member of LaFayette Presbyterian Church. She was a foster grandparent for many years. Bernice is survived by 11 nieces and nephews, 19 great-nieces and nephews and nine great-great nieces and nephews. Services: Wednesday, January 12, 2005, 5:00 p.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home. Spring Burial: Saturday, June 4, 2005 at LaFayette Rural Cemetery, Route 11, LaFayette, New York. Calling Hours: Wednesday, 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home, 2584 Field Lane, LaFayette, New York.
