Obituary of Dorothy Elizabeth Straub

Dorothy Elizabeth Grigson Straub, 85, died Sunday, February 27, 2005 at Van Duyn Home & Hospital, Onondaga Hill, New York. Dorothy was born January 11, 1920 in Syracuse, New York, the daughter of Richard and Susie (Campbell) Grigson. She was a graduate of Central High School and a 1940 graduate of Syracuse City Normal School. She retired in 1982 after 25 years as a bookkeeper at Key Bank. She loved to knit, sew and crochet. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Straub, December 18, 1992 and two brothers, David and James Grigson. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Margaret E. Straub of Syracuse, New York; one son and daughter-in-law, Richard C. and Rose Straub of Syracuse, New York and a nephew, Bruce Grigson of New Jersey. Funeral Service: Wednesday, March 2, 2005, 7:00 p.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Grinnals officiating. Calling Hour: Wednesday, March 2, 2005, 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home, 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, New York. Burial: Friday, May 20, 2005, 12:00 noon in Mt.
