Obituary of Lynn Otis Goff

Lynn Otis "Gus" Goff Jr., 65, of 139 Walrath Road, Syracuse, New York died Monday, February 28, 2005 at Community General Hospital, Onondaga Hill, New York. Lynn was born January 25, 1940 in Syracuse, New York, the son of Lynn Otis Goff Sr. and Celia (Spaulding) Goff. A life resident of Syracuse Valley area, he retired January 2005 as a landscaper for Syracuse University following many years of service. He played Santa at Cortland?s Country Music Park. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn Wysocki and three brothers, Duane, Guy David and Arthur J. Goff. Survivors: His significant other, Bette Doolittle of Syracuse, New York; three sisters, Yvonne Winslow of Syracuse, New York, Caroline Irene Collett of Lake Worth, Florida and Hope Marie Siedell of Baldwinsville, New York; several nieces and nephews. Memorial Service: Thursday, March 3, 2005, 2:00 p.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, New York. No calling hours. Spring Burial: Saturday, August 6, 2005, 10:00 a.m. in Onondaga Valley Cemetery, 2500 Valley Drive, Syracuse, New York.
