Obituary of Marie Alice Himes

Marie Alice Himes, 88 of "The Valley" in Syracuse, New York died Saturday, April 23, 2005 at Community General Hospital, Onondaga Hill, New York. Marie was born May 22, 1916 in Loom Lake, New York, the daughter of James and Helena (Curran) McCasland. She was the wife of Harry C. Himes who died in 2002. She retired from Park-Brannock as a salesperson following 25 years of service. She enjoyed golfing, bowling and playing bunko. Surviving are her two daughters; Kathleen Himes of Syracuse, New York and Barbara Wilburn of Central Square, New York; two sons; John Himes of Virginia and Harry C. "Buddy" Himes, Jr. of Syracuse, New York; one sister, Hazel Gorman of Auburn, New York; one brother, Gerald McCasland of Florida; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
