Obituary of Rose Scott

Rose DePalma Scott, life resident of Syracuse, New York died Tuesday, August 30, 2005 at the Jewish Home Of CNY in Syracuse. Rose was born in Syracuse, New York, the daughter of John DePalma and Maria Bosco. She was a 1927 graduate of Vocational High School. She was a member of Toast Mistress Club, Calvary Club for 30 years and Cottillion Club. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes. She was preceded in death by her husband, James John Scott in 2002; five brothers, Pasquale, Frank, Guy, Lewis and Joseph; six sisters, Carrie, Anna, Bertha, Carmella, Susan and Angeline. Rose is survived by her long term caregiver niece, Janet C. Scott of Tully, New York; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Services: Saturday, September 3, 2005, 8:15 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Syracuse and 9:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes, 300 Valley Drive, Syracuse, New York where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated. Burial: St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum, 4100 E. Genesee Street, Dewitt, New York. Calling Hour: Friday, September 2, 2005, 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 4612 S.
