Obituary of Katherine P. Langworthy

Katherine P. Langworthy, 72, of Camillus, New York and formerly of Palmyra, New York died Tuesday, August 30, 2005 at The Crossings in Minoa, New York. Katherine was born May 14, 1933 in Williamson, New York, the daughter of Philip and Lucille (Ryckman) Van Boxlaere. She retired in 1992 from I. E. C. Electronics in Newark, New York after 18 years and was a former member of Brandon Elks Lodge. She was a crafty person and really enjoyed ceramics and painting. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Langworthy in 1996 and two sons-in-law, Don DeWandel and Bruce Barkley, both in 2005. Katherine is survived by her two daughters, Lynn Barkley of Camillus, New York and Linda DeWandel of Newark, New York; two sons and daughter-in-law, Lawrence "Larry" (Bonnie) Langworthy of Cloverdale, Indiana and Leonard Langworthy of Shelby, North Carolina; one sister and brother-in-law, Dawn (Don) Withey of Phelps, New York; two brothers and sister-in-law, David Van Boxlaere of Watertown, Massachusetts and Philip (Katie) Van Boxlaere of Clifton Springs, New York; sister-in-law, Norma Langworthy of Brandon, Florida; seven grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
