Obituary of Ella M. Lebrun

Ella M. Lebrun, 79, of "The Valley" and formerly of Ferndale Drive, both in Syracuse, New York, died Friday October 28, 2005 at Community General Hospital, Onondaga Hill, New York. Ella was born September 30, 1926 in Crysler, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of Albert and Laurentia (LaPale) Carriere. She attended St. James Church and was a former member and former treasurer of Can/Am Legion Post #173 Auxiliary. She enjoyed traveling and camping in the great outdoors and gardening. She was an avid hockey fan. She was very active in the raising of her pride and joy "her grandchildren". Her life revolved around her husband, children and grandchildren. Ella is survived by her husband of 59 years, Omer Lebrun; two sons, Marcel (Stephanie) Lebrun of Syracuse, New York and Gary (Lianne) Lebrun of Nedrow, New York; three grandchildren, Nicole, Kristen and Pierre Lebrun; one great-grandson, Dylan Lebrun. She was predeceased by her brother, Lucien "Frenchy" Carriere. Calling Hour: Monday, October 31, 2005, 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home.
