Dear Family of Clayt,
Clayt was a wonderful man. I worked with him at the GE Electronics Laboratory back in the 80's. He was always joyful, respectful, and genuinely interested in everyone he came in contact with. I'm sure Heaven rejoiced when Clayt came smiling through the gates.

I wish my brothers and I could be there with each of you.
I admit, I’m smiling right now. In my mind’s eye I can see Uncle Bub, so full of life and joy, diving from the bow of the Dreamy Diz into those beautiful, clear waters of Canada. He dives deep and when he comes up there’s a huge gasp of air and a twinkle in his eye. Then he begins that powerful butterfly stroke of his.
Your dad is a gift to me and my life. I am grateful to and for him.
I love you.
Susan

I remembered Clayton's name (although I never met him) from years of listening to WMHR in Syracuse. I never realized what a gifted man he was. I am grateful for the gift of sacrifice he and others made to start a Christian radio in Syracuse. Many of the programs on WMHR strengthened my faith and helped me to grow spiritually. I am forever in the debt of men like this who had a vision for broadcasting God's Word. Thank you, Clayton Roberts for using your talents to serve God.

I remember my Dad telling me stories about how he and Clayt sailed in a boat to Hammonasset Beach! They were best friends! My Dad, Bob Stanton spoke very highly of Clayt! I’m so sorry for your loss!

My sincere condolences to Clayt's family and friends. We were co-workers at GE's E-Lab and everyone was family to each other. Will remember his smile and quiet manner; always respectful and positive. May he rest in peace.

Clayt was really the the nicest person i ever knew. Always a smile, positive, optimistic, great attitude, humble, with genuine concern, took a sincere interest in others and their well being, always willing to help, and happy to see you, no matter what challenges he might personally be facing. Clayt always treated others as equals, even though he was highly intelligent, skilled, and inventive. Will always remember his cheerful kind inquiring "Hello??..." when he entered WMHR-FM radio facilities during the evenings or weekends, to check on things as the chief engineer, and as a friend. He loved the Creator and others, not because he felt he had to, but because he really did.

My deepest condolences to Clayt's family and all those who knew him and will miss him. I had the honour of working with him at Mars Hill in the 1990's and will always hold his memory, humour and brave acts for the Lord in the highest esteem. His memory will always be in the great accomplishments he forwarded in the Lord's work and all those who have been greatly affected for Christ as a result. His home-going will indeed be precious in the eyes of the Lord. - John R Green (Oxford, England)
