Obituary of Andrew P. Gougeon

Andrew P. Gougeon, 32, of LaFayette passed away at home on September 10th, 2020. Andrew was a lifelong resident of LaFayette and a graduate of LaFayette High school in 2006. He enjoyed video games, paint ball, cooking and spending time with his nieces and nephews. Andrew was a kind and generous person who would give you the shirt off his back if you asked for it.

He is predeceased by: his maternal grandfather, Ralph Reiss of LaFayette, and his paternal gandmother, Carmelle Harrison of Clifton Springs.

Andrew is survived by: his parents, Debra & Lauran Gougeon of Jamesville; his grandmother, Gert Reiss of Jamesville; sister Karen (Shawn) Sochia of East Syracuse; brother Geoffrey (Sarah) Gougeon of LaFayette; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Family, friends, and others whose lives were touched by Andrew, are invited to Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 2585 Field Lane LaFayette, NY on Friday September 18th from 5 pm to 8 pm, for memorial visitation.  A funeral to celebrate his life for immediate family only (Due to COVID), will be held on Saturday September 19th at Onativia United Methodist Church.
