Obituary of Charles Joseph Sauve

Charles Joseph “Chas” Sauve, 64, of Syracuse, N.Y., passed away on Saturday, January 21st.  Chas was loved by all who met him. He was a union mason worker, and then went on to work for New Venture Gear, where he met his wife. Chas loved his Boston Redsox and was a big fan of SU sports. You could find him working part-time at Pfohl’s Tavern or just hanging out. His infectious smile lit up every room he was in and he will be missed by all.

Chas is survived by his loving wife, Danna J. Fox; Brother, John (Meridee) Sauve;  Sister, Kathy(Tom) Halbig;  Daughter, Jennifer Nicole Sauve; his 4 stepchildren, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. 

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 4th from 1 PM to 4 PM, at Ballweg Lunsford Funeral Home, 4612 S. Salina St. Syracuse.

 A Celebration of Life will follow at Pfohl’s Tavern at 4 PM.
