Obituary of Ace J. Womack

Ace J. Womack, 54, of Syracuse, left this life unexpectedly on January 3, 2023. He was born in 1968 in the Bronx of New York City, and graduated from Park West High School in Manhattan.

Ace eventually settled in Syracuse, NY to be closer to his father, about 20 years ago. He was proud of his employment with Colonial Landry Mat, and was quick to make friends. Ace was an avid sports fan, thoroughly enjoyed scratch off tickets, and was devoted to playing "his numbers". Ace was known for his big heart, and his love for people- especially his family.

Left to mourn his passing are: his loving wife of 15 years, Antionette "Netta" Berry; father, Jodie Womack; sister, Jody (Kevin) Womack; niece, Elizabeth Witted; and nephews, Phillip Witted and Eddie Smith. Ace is predeceased by: his mother, Yolande Kay; step mother, Martha Womack; and sister, Shazadi Smith.

An hour of calling will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023 from 12 Noon to 1 pm, at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 4612 S. Salina St., Syracuse, NY.
