Obituary of Janet Lee Cuipylo

JANET LEE CUIPYLO, 65 Of Lafayette New York, started her journey on the morning of Thursday September 29, 2022 with her two sons by her side.  Janet Lee Cuipylo was a loving mother to Jonathan Lee Noble and Matthew Lee Noble; her siblings in order are Karen (John), Donna Cuipylo (Tim Watkins) Niece Aimee Barrington of Portland OR, Zoe Cuipylo-Watkins of Los Angeles CA and nephew Tiberius Cuipylo-Watkins of Boston MA. Steve and Theresa Cuipylo niece Abby Cuipylo, nephew Cory Cuipylo, Brian, and Julie (Ron) Wheatley nephews Lance and Kevin (Kelsey) Wheatley.  Predeceased by her parents, Edith and John Cuipylo, brother Eric “Shupe” Cuipylo.  Janet graduated from Lafayette High School in the Class of 1975, later she traveled while working in food services to places like Cape Cod MA, Jacksonville FL, Houston TX, and ultimately back to Syracuse where she met Tommy Lee Noble who she married and started her family accepting as she was assigned her true calling as a mother, that would guide the remaining thirty eight years of her life.  She began her career as a registered nurse in 97 where she found her second true calling to care for sick and elderly with a specialty in home health care, a patient advocate with a compassionate attitude that would get what was needed when someone was in need.  A born leader who could brighten any room, best known for random acts of kindness, realigning compassionate principals in the presence of uncaring demeanor and gentle words of encouragement to empower the good in all people.  When Janet was not in service to others her joys were spending time with her sons, extended family and friends, she was a motorcycle momma who once rode solo through the Smokey Mountains of North Carolina to New York.  She engaged in humanitarian efforts to feed and clothe those in need through multiple giving organizations.   She was a sister to many growing her relations like family with her first best friend Val Toledo beginning in kindergarten, guiding her unlimited light to true friendship with all those she touched; Susie, Doris, Tina and the many other connections she made through enjoyed sporting events, nursing relations, friends of Bill, herbal school class mates, prayer groups and the Sundance Community she felt at peace giving thanks. This as a Celebration of Life for the most giving mother, sister, friend, and healer who spread joy, laughter, and philosophy stated to always honorably question authority.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, October 4, 2022 from 11AM-1PM at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, LaFayette, NY.  Services will begin at 1PM.
