Obituary of Esther Sprague Kurak

Esther Sprague Kurak, age 84, of 128 Diana Avenue, Syracuse died Monday, November 12, 2001 at Community General Hospital, Onondaga, New York. Mrs. Kurak was born in Harrisville, New York, April 2, 1917, the daughter of Fred Arthur and Blanche (Streeter) Sprague. She was the wife of the late Michael John Kurak. She was employed as a Dental Assistant by Dr. Mark Morchower, Manlius, New York. She was a member of St. Albin's Episcopal Church and LaFayette Book Club. She is survived by: 1 daughter: Cindy K. Henderson from LaFayette, New York 1 son: Gary M. Kurak from Auburndale, Florida 1 brother: Clifford Sprague from Winterpark, Florida 2 grandchildren The funeral will be Thursday, November 15, 2001, 10:00 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, New York with Rev. Emily Gibson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home before the funeral service from 9:30 - 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Oakwood-Morningside Mausoleum, Syracuse.
