Obituary of Elizabeth Mildred Carroll-Marsh

This world lost a bright light on September 11, 2022 when Elizabeth M. "Lizzi" Carroll-Marsh, 31, passed away unexpectedly.

She graduated from Liverpool High School in 2008 with high honors. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Albany. Lizzi went back to school again and received a certification in Substance Abuse Counseling. Lizzi later went on to work for Professional Counseling Services for a few years, in Camillus, NY, where she helped many people recover from addiction. Lizzi will be remembered for her compassionate heart, beautiful smile, infectious laugh, and her love of family and friends.

Surviving are: her parents, Bonnie Carroll-Marsh (Del) and Charles Marsh; siblings: Natashia, Aaron, and Patrick Carroll-Marsh; grandparents, William and Katherine Carroll; aunts, Mary Beth Johnson (Jeff), Kathryn Copp (Bob), and Wanda Givens; uncle, Red Marsh (Cathy); two nephews, Giovanni and Silas; stepsister, Alyssa and stepbrother, Charles; tons of cousins who are like siblings; a most special great aunt and uncle, Lynne and Sandy Simmons of Tampa, FL; great aunt Helen Gould of Baldwinsville; and the love of Lizzi's life, Kevin McHale. She is predeceased by her paternal grandmother, Miss Mildred. Lizzi will be greatly missed.

An hour of calling will be held on Friday September 16 at 10 am, at Our Lady of Hope Roman Catholic Church, 4845 S. Salina St., Syracuse. A funeral mass will follow at 11 am.
