Obituary of Ronald J. Alexander Sr.

Ronald J. Alexander Sr., 81 of Lafayette, passed away peacefully with his family at his side after battling many illnesses. He was born and raised in Lafayette where he graduated from Lafayette High School.  Ron worked many years at Greenhills Farm, moved on to BR Johnson where he retired in 2006.  He was big Dale Earnhardt fan, liked going to car shows, enjoyed traveling with his partner and woodworking.

He is survived by his loving, caring partner, M. Connors "Mary Jane"; children,  Ronald "Chip" (Gail) Alexander II, Daniel (Carol) Alexander and Kelly (John) Bergman; grandchildren, Jason, Corrine, John, Autumn; great grandchildren, Bradon, Asher, Haley, Willow, Hunter, Brantley, James and Sawyer; and dog, Dolly.

Calling Hours will be Friday, August 19, 2022 from 4-7PM at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Lafayette.  Services will be Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 10AM at the funeral  home.  Burial will follow at Lafayette Rural Cemetery.
