Obituary of Muriel Webb Partridge

Muriel W. Partridge, 95, of LaFayette, passed away Wednesday July 20, peacefully at home with her family by her side. She was a graduate of Crouse Irving School of Nursing and worked as an RN in the operating room at Crouse for several years.  She then became a full time nurse at home with 11 children. Her children and grandchildren were her absolute pride and joy. She was a wonderful cook, seamstress and crafter. Muriel always ensured that her visitors were fed a meal, or given a homemade cookie. She was also a loyal member of Fabius Christian Church. 

Surviving are: her loving husband of 74 years, Irving (Jim) Partridge; her children, Jeanne Smith (Dave) Hugelmeier, Charles (Kathy) Partridge, Patricia (Dwight Peavey) Partridge, Sherry Hutchins, Kenneth (Michellene) Partridge, Tamela (Jayson) Nelson, Susan Tiby, Kathleen (Michael) Schnupp, David(Mary) Partridge, Donald, and Edward (Mia) Partridge; 22 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; many nieces; and nephews.  She was predeceased by two children: James Irving and Joanie 

Calling hours will be held on Monday July 25, from 4 pm to 7 pm, at Ballweg and Lundsford Funeral Home, 2584 Field Lane, LaFayette, NY 13084.  A Funeral Service will be held  on Tuesday July 26 at 10 am, at Fabius Christian Church, Main Street, Fabius, NY  13063. Burial will follow at Pompey Hill Cemetery.
