Obituary of Walter J. Vader

Walter J. “Butch” Vader, 59, of Syracuse, passed away on Saturday, June 18^th. Butch was born in Syracuse to Sonny and Elaine (Tafel) Vader April 12, 1963. He worked for Upstate University Hospital as a cook, where he later retired. Butch’s greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his parents; his sisters; Kim Vader and Barb Demco.

Butch is survived by his wife; Roberta (Foster) Vader, children; Jonathan Smallwood, Joshua (Carly Piorie) Vader and Allison vader. grandchildren; Arianna Monds, Aubrey Vader and Roman Jones,  sisters; Eleanor Braun and Brenda Pendall, brother; Michael vader and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private.

Burial will be Monday, June 27^th at 11 AM in Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
