Your Dad and our Dad were very good friends ( and Boy Scout Leaders together) for many years. We remember Hobie very fondly. We are so sorry we missed the calling hours as we were out of town, but he will not be forgotten in our hearts!! Our Dad passed away in 2009, and one of the first people to arrive to share our sorrow , was your Dad. You are all in our thoughts and we share your loss.

We remember Hobie with great fondness. We knew him through Troop 1276 in Eastwood where he was an active participant in troop activities. My son Jim recalls Hobie going camping with them (he was probably in his late 80"s at that point) and teaching the boys how to set up the original style canvas tents (no pop-ups!). Jim remembers celebrating his 90th birthday, and we were honored that Hobie attended his Eagle ceremony in 2010. We are so thankful for his service to our country and our community. Here's to Hobie and a life well lived!!
With sympathy,
The Grosso family
