Obituary of Frances D. LaVancher

Frances D. LaVancher, 94, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, Nov. 3. She was life resident of Syracuse. She retired in 1990 from the Syracuse City School District.  Frances was known as “Grammy” to all.  She is predeceased by her husband, Norman; grandsons, Gary LaVancher Jr. and Larry LaVancher Jr.

Frances is survived by her children, Larry LaVancher Sr., Gary (Joan) LaVancher Sr. and Linda (Anthony) Wright; numerous grand and great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Frances’ request, Services will be private.

Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the American Alzheimer’s Association.
