Obituary of leonore A. (Cox) Keiber

Leonore A. (Cox) Keiber, 91, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 30th.  She was born in Syracuse to Loren and Marion Cox.  She went to Onondaga Valley Academy and was President of Alpha Delta Phi Sorority.  As a lifelong resident of The Valley, she was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church and it's choir for many years. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and family and enjoyed many cruises. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Henry P. Keiber, in 2006; a son, Michael P. Keiber, in 2007; her sister, Marilyn Rich; her brothers, George Cox and John Cox.

She is survived by her children, Linda (John) Langdon of North Syracuse, Cheryl (Richard) Woodworth of Syracuse, Kathleen Powell of Palmetto, FL., Susan (Richard) Cross of Syracuse; Steven (Stephanie) Keiber of Syracuse and Janice (Ralph) Pizzuto of Liverpool; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours will be Monday, July 6, 2020 from 11AM to 1PM at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 4612 S. Salina St., Syracuse, NY 13205.  Services will follow at 1PM at the funeral home.  Burial will take place at Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
