Obituary of Rolande Minichillo

Rolande Gaertner Minichillo, 96, of Syracuse, passed away
peacefully on Monday, May 25, 2020.  Mrs. Minichillo was born
in Nancy, France, came to the U.S. after World War II and was
a homemaker and beautician. 

She was predeceased by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Victor Gaertner, her sister and brother in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Georges Guillon, her niece and nephew-in-
law, Mr. & Mrs. Pierre Henry, and great nephew, Francois
Giummelly, all from France.  She was also predeceased by her
husband, Francis R. Minichillo, and in-laws, Mr. & Mrs. Tommy
Minichillo (Syr.), Mr. & Mrs. Charles Brennan (PA), Ms. Mary
Minichillo (Syr.), Mr. & Mrs. Joseph McGrath (PA), and nephew,
T.J. Minichillo (FL). 

She is survived by her children, Nancy Livingston and Michael Minichillo, both of Georgia, grandson, Gregory Matos (Wash., DC area), sister in-law, Ms. Jean
Minichillo (Syr.), niece and husband, great nieces and nephews
both in France and the U.S.
Burial will be private in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
