Obituary of Patricia A. Hughes

Patricia   A.   Hughes,   81,   of   Otisco,   NY   passed   away   peacefully   with   her 
 family   by   her   side   on   March   11,   2020.   Patricia   was   the   Valedictorian   of 
 West   Canada   Valley   Central   School   and   attended   CCBI   business   school. 
 She   married   Richard   Hughes   in   1960   and   had   four   children.   Together   she 
 and   Richard   started   Hughes   Tile   Company   and   ran   it   until   they   retired   in 
 1994.   Patricia   was   an   avid   lover   of   horses,   hiking,   and   spending   time   at 
 camp   with   her   family   and   friends.   
 
She   is   survived   by   her   children,   Lori   (Rick)   Woods,   Richard   (Denise) 
 Hughes,   Daniel   (Polly)   Hughes,   Kathleen   Kiernan,   13   grandchildren   and   6 
 great   grandchildren.   
 
Services   will   be   Saturday,   March   14,   2020   at   11am   at   St.   Patrick’s   Church 
 in   Otisco,   NY.   Burial   will   follow   at   St.   Patrick’s   Cemetery.
