Obituary of David P. Lambert Sr.

It is with great sadness that the family of David P. Lambert Sr. announces his passing on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at the age of 83.

Dave worked as a mechanic for over fifty years and at one time was co-owner of Andy and Dave’s Auto. He served in the U.S. Army, stationed at Ft. Bragg. Dave had a passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed snowmobiling, boating, hunting, and bird watching.  He was known by his family as a top notch handyman. He was predeceased by his daughter, Marie.

Dave will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Mary; and his children, David Jr. (Melissa), Ann (Marilyn); his brothers, Harry (Anna), Charles (Nancy), and Gregory (Cheryl). Dave will also be fondly remembered by his four grandchildren, Sarah, Jared, Courtney, and Paige; and seven great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 2584 Field Lane, LaFayette, NY 13084.
