Obituary of Terrence J. DeLany

Terrence J. DeLany, 66, of Syracuse, New York passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018. Born in Syracuse, he was the son of the late Thomas DeLany and Christine Dossert DeLany Foote. Terry retired as a sergeant from the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Department in 1993. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and he always loved a good party.

Terry is survived by his children, Heather DeLany, Matthew DeLany, Krystyne DeLany-McEldowney and Terrence DeLany Jr.; brother, Thomas DeLany; sisters, Patricia Diflorio, Kathleen Stapleton and Christine Lynch; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours and burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt, New York will be at the convenience of the family.
