Obituary of Priscilla Louise Gilbert

Priscilla Louise Gilbert, died at Loretto on November 13, 2018. She was born in Syracuse, NY on October 26, 1932 the daughter of Foster B. Gilbert and Mildred C. Barker. She is survived by her twin sister, Constance Zoch of Houston, TX and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Caroline Green, Helen McConville, Allen Gilbert and Ruth Smith.

Priscilla worked at GE for 28 years and also worked at The Inn where she made many life-long friends.  She was a devoted SU Football fan. She loved her SU sports and was a charter season ticket holder for many years. GO ORANGE!

She was an active member of Gethsemane United Methodist Church. She loved serving and helping others and always thought of others before herself. All of her nieces and nephews will forever argue that each were her favorite. Priscilla never met a stranger and was on a first name basis with everyone she met. Priscilla was loved by everyone and will be missed. 

Calling hours will be held Friday, November 16, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse with a funeral service to follow at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
