Obituary of Deborah Ann Buckley
Deborah Ann Buckley, 69 of Mexico, NY passed on Saturday, June 30th. Born in White Oak, NC she spent most of her life in Lafayette, NY with her husband Sam; whom she was married to for 39 years.
Deb loved being a homemaker, Grandma and loved her family dearly. She especially loved her grandson’s baseball games, sleepovers with her granddaughters and traveling to spend time with her family in NC. Two of her favorite past times were bowling and playing pitch with friends and family. She was a devoted member of North Mexico Union Church and truly loved all her church family.
Predeceased by her husband Sam Buckley; brother Ray Dew; Sisters Myrtle Mims, Reba Edge, Ginger Olrich and Janice Bryan. Surviving are two sons Charles D. (Karen) and Micheal S. Buckley of Mexico, NY; two grandsons Joshua and Justin Buckley; two granddaughters Samantha and Olivia Buckley; brothers Glen Dew, David Dew and sister Dale Jernigan; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Our family would like to thank all of the caregivers that were kind to Debbie; while she was in their care.
Calling hours will be Wednesday July 11th from 3-6 p.m. at the North Mexico Union Church; with the funeral service directly following at 6 p.m. Burial Services will be Thursday, July 12th at 11 a.m. at the Tully Cemetery.
