Anna M. Danner, 94, of Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 3, 2017, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse. Born in Allentown, PA, Anna was a daughter of the late Frank and Anna Zamadics. She was a devout Catholic and communicant of Holy Cross Church, DeWitt.
Anna is survived by her daughter, Susan (Richard) Hanas of Syracuse; brother, Edward Zamadics of Lafayette, LA; sister, Dorothea Binder of Palmerton, PA; grandsons, Jeffrey (Jenn) Hanas of Glastonbury, CT, Brian Hanas of Syracuse, and Thomas (Melissa) Hanas of Shelton, CT; great-grandchildren, Jared, Jacob and Michaela; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Russell, in 1980; sisters, Mary, Theresa, Elizabeth, and Margaret; and brothers, Frank and William.
A memorial mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 1, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, 4112 E. Genesee Street, Syracuse, NY 13214. Burial will be on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, in Danielsville, PA.
